With only three players in the entire league has produced fifteen signature silhouettes, The Swoosh was quick to honour Kevin Durant’s extensive list of creations with a retro treatment. His signature brand is getting praise since its origins. Now the Nike KD 3 White Gold is now coming back while unveiling an exquisite new colourway. It is not exactly retro, as we got to see the model back in 2015, but this time around, we are seeing it in an extraordinary triple-white finish. The colourway is so clean that the sneakers almost look like they come with just a light fabric on top of them.
Accompanying the initial “KD 3 All-Star” release is a pristine white ensemble trimmed in golden accents.It launches Durant’s trip down memory lane.The shoe features a monochromatic palette with its buttery leather vamp, midfoot overlay, and complementary brightly-hued mesh tongue construction and laces. Internally, it opts for an off-white shade across its forefoot’s FLYWIRE panel while also incorporating a cream composition to the ballistic mesh window of the midsole and heeled mesh upper.
A nylon sock plus tongue lining in either hue completes the look. To add a luxe touch, golden KD logos grace this sneaker’s tongue – highlighted by its rare red built-in pull tab. Then, notice metallic accents along the edges of Swooshes and exposed TPU shank set atop an ivory Zoom sole unit. To complete the signature look are copper heel buttons paired with golden foil logos at insoles.
